About Contactwho

Last updated 29 September 2026

Contactwho is a B2B contact-finding tool. You describe what you sell and name a company. It returns that company’s decision-makers ranked by fit, explains why each person matters, and reveals verified work emails and direct-dial phone numbers when you ask for them. It is a web app, sold by monthly or annual subscription, priced for individuals and small teams.

How a search works

  1. You enter a company name or domain and one sentence about your offer, for example “we provide temporary warehouse staffing” or “we buy off-spec plastic film”. Optionally a country.
  2. Contactwho identifies the company, resolves subsidiaries and duplicates, and pulls its people from licensed data.
  3. An AI step maps the buying center for your offer at that company: which department owns the purchase, who signs, who evaluates, who is affected.
  4. People are ranked and labelled primary buyer, secondary buyer, influencer or stakeholder, each with a short reason and a confidence tier.
  5. You reveal an email (1 credit) or a phone number (5 credits, paid plans), save people to lists, export to your CRM, or draft outreach from the ranking context.

Searches are unlimited on every plan. Credits are only spent on reveals, and a reveal that cannot be verified is not charged.

Where the data comes from

  • Licensed B2B company and people datasets covering about 16 million companies and 145 million employee records worldwide, refreshed on a rolling schedule.
  • Real-time email and phone verification at the moment you reveal a contact, so you are not charged for details we cannot confirm.
  • Our own ranking data: thousands of completed searches across more than sixty countries teach the buying-center model which roles actually own a given purchase. For staffing services that is most often HR and talent-acquisition leadership; for scrap, byproducts and recycling it is procurement and supply chain, then operations and facilities; for packaging it is packaging, product development and procurement.

What it costs

  • Free trial: 14 days, unlimited searches, 100 email-reveal credits, no credit card.
  • Solo: $29 a month, or $24 a month billed annually. 100 credits a month, one user.
  • Growth: $79 a month, or $66 a month billed annually. 500 credits a month, bulk operations, priority support.
  • Team: $199 a month for three users and 2,000 pooled credits; each extra user is $60 a month and adds 500 credits. Shared reveals and shared lists.

Full detail and the credit FAQ are on the pricing page. Paid plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Who it is for

  • Staffing and recruitment agencies selling to employers.
  • Founders doing their own outbound without an SDR.
  • Independent consultants and marketing, design or development agencies.
  • Small B2B sales teams working shared target accounts.
  • Industrial sellers reaching procurement, operations, plant and sustainability leaders.

How it differs from list tools

Apollo, ZoomInfo, Lusha, RocketReach and Hunter start from filters and return lists. Contactwho starts from your intent and returns a ranked, explained shortlist for one company at a time. That suits account-based and small-team prospecting better than bulk list building. See the comparisons with Apollo, ZoomInfo, RocketReach and Hunter.
