How we write

Last updated 29 September 2026

The Contactwho blog exists to help people who sell to businesses find the right person inside a company and reach them well. This page explains who writes it, how the writing is produced, and what we will and won’t do. It is short on purpose.

Who writes it

Posts are bylined Contactwho Research. That is the team that builds and runs Contactwho, not an invented persona. We don’t attach made-up names, stock headshots or fictional credentials to articles. When an individual contributor is credited, it is a real person who did the work.

How posts are made

  • Drafted with AI assistance. We use language models to help draft and restructure text from an outline we write. Every published post is then edited by a person on the team for accuracy, usefulness and tone before it goes live.
  • Grounded in our own data where we can. Contactwho ranks contacts inside companies for thousands of real buyer searches. When a post cites who tends to own a purchase, which titles get contacted, or how buying committees look by industry or company size, that comes from anonymised, aggregated patterns in that data. We say so in the post.
  • Claims about other products are checked at the time of writing against the vendor’s own pricing and documentation pages. Prices and features change; the date on the post tells you when we looked.
  • We make Contactwho. Posts sometimes mention it. When a recommendation involves our own product, that is disclosed by the fact that you are reading it on contactwho.com, and we try to keep the advice useful whether or not you ever use it.

What we won’t do

  • Publish statistics, quotes or case studies we cannot trace to a source or to our own data.
  • Accept payment for placement, links or reviews. There are no sponsored posts and no affiliate links.
  • Publish articles nobody on the team has read.

Updates and corrections

Every post shows its publication date, and the date it was last changed when we revise it materially. Posts that no longer meet the bar are merged into a better one (the old address forwards) or taken out of search engines while we rework them.

If something is wrong, email support@contactwho.com with the link and what you believe is incorrect. We correct factual errors in place and note the change.
